Jack Ampuja leads consulting firms Supply Chain Optimizers and E-commerce Optimizers. Carsten is a Sustainability, ESG and Modern Slavery Expert. With extensive experience in validating and monitoring suppliers and developing and implementing policies, processes and guidelines which work in real life. 

His experience has been developed managing, mitigating, and remediating sustainability challenges in Australia, Europe, China and Asia and it includes sustainability strategy, compliance, monitoring and oversight, integrity, reporting, capacity building, training and program implementation and training.  Carsten has delivered business projects with a recent focus on supply chain improvement related to developing processes to enhance the sustainability, and in particular modern slavery performance for large Australian corporates.

He brings a practical approach to mitigation and remediation and is one of few with hands on experience remediating child labor and slavery like working conditions on site in Asia. In addition to projects delivered in Australia, Asia, Denmark and Spain, Carsten has conducted monitoring at over 300 factories in China and updated a major Australian banks response to sustainable procurement. 

Carsten recently Co-Founded the US-based Sustainability Advisory Services firm SCERTIFY whose mission it is to bring emerging technology to address unsolved supply chain ethical sourcing challenges he’s witnessed so closely over his career.
